Destination Spotlight: San Remo

Sanremo, the crown jewel of Italy’s Riviera dei Fiori, offers a blend of refined charm, cultural heritage, and scenic cruising. Once a winter retreat for European aristocracy, the town remains a stylish destination for superyachts, with berths available at the modern PorteSole marina.

The high season runs June to September, while spring and autumn offer quieter charm. Calm waters host dolphins and vibrant marine life ideal for snorkelling and coastal exploration.

San Remo

Famous for its grand Casino, the Sanremo Music Festival, and historic Flower Market, Sanremo also offers sailing, golf, and cycling along a scenic 24 km coastal path linking seaside towns like Ospedaletti and Arma di Taggia.

Visitors can explore nearby villages like Ceriana and Bussana Vecchia, catch live performances, and visit landmarks such as Villa Ormond and the Russian Church. Local crafts and regional cuisine—like brandacujun and trofie al pesto—add flavor to the experience. With its mild climate and rich culture, Sanremo remains a timeless Mediterranean gem.
