After five successful years in Barcelona, the MYBA Charter Show looks forward to a new host city. Raphael Sauleau, MYBA President and CEO of IYC, told Yacht Charter Market, “The relocation of the MYBA Show to Genoa is not just a change in geography, but also a celebration of a maritime heritage and a homage to the city's deep-rooted connection with the sea.”
He continued, “This move is an opportunity to spotlight Genoa's unique blend of historical significance and modern luxury, reinforcing its status as a global maritime hub part of the West Mediterranean yachting epicentre.”

The show itself is set to be a crowd-pleaser. Judith Estrella, Chair of the MYBA Charter Boat Show Panel and Co-founder of Charter&Dreams, told Yacht Charter Market, “The MYBA Show has regained its splendour and this year we are expecting to return to a pre-Covid sized show! There are more than 60 boats already registered (almost full capacity) and more than 50 exhibitors.”
Throughout the four-day show, a full agenda is planned. “Attendees can expect interesting seminars, entertaining cocktails and two competitions for the crew: the MYBA Superyacht Chefs’ competition and All Hands on Deck,” said MYBA’s Judith Estrella. “Undoubtedly, this MYBA Show will be the yachting event of the year,” she continued.
Some of the charter fleet’s finest vessels will be present at the show, from 20-metres all the way up to over 90-metres in length. The line up currently includes the 97.20-metre, recently-refitted Lürssen vessel Carinthia VII, the 85.6-metre Derecktor motor yacht Aquila and the brand new 77-metre Golden Yachts motor yacht Malia.
