Charter Yachts Attending FLIBS

The Yacht Charter Market team is on the ground this week at the 67th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to explore the American Charter Market and the yachts available on this side of the Atlantic.

We’ll also be hosting a panel centred around ‘Unpacking the American Charter Market’, with representatives from Burgess, Worth Avenue and IYC ready to share their expertise of the North American market. The panel will take place on Friday, October 30th at 2 PM local time in the seminar tent, located in the Superyacht Village. You can find more details here.

As You Wish: A Charter Experience on Your Terms

Some yacht names set the tone before you even step aboard. Inspired by The Princess Bride, As You Wish takes its name from one of the film’s most memorable lines, offering a fitting philosophy for a yacht where the experience is shaped around each guest.

Following an extensive, multi-phase refit completed between 2024 and 2026, the 164’ (50m) Westport combines refreshed interiors by acclaimed designer Patrick Knowles with reimagined outdoor spaces and a layout designed for longer stays. Accommodating up to 12 guests across seven cabins, she offers exceptional flexibility for families and groups of friends. A bridge-deck master suite with a private balcony, a redesigned skylounge with a bar and cinema-style setup, and a sundeck complete with a jacuzzi and outdoor cinema make it easy to find a favorite spot on board. For a different kind of reset, guests can enjoy the newly added cold plunge, while a dedicated wellness space featuring an infrared sauna and red light therapy is also in the final stages of development.

Behind the experience is a proven crew of 11, including rotational Captains Cuan and Chase, whose consistency and familiarity with the program have helped earn the yacht a loyal following and repeat clientele.

This winter, As You Wish will cruise the Caribbean before heading to Costa Rica and Panama from February 2027. The change of scenery opens the door to a more adventurous style of charter, from remote coastlines and secluded anchorages to itineraries around Isla del Coco, the remote Costa Rican island famed for its extraordinary marine life and association with Jurassic Park.

Whether the brief calls for relaxed days in the Caribbean or a deeper exploration of Central America, As You Wish is ready to make it happen, just as you wish.
