Cruising with Carmen, Aegean Yachts’ brand new charter.
Carmen, a 37-metre motor yacht, made her charter debut to the world this summer. Aegean Yachts launched the all-Turkish yacht earlier this year, in February 2025 and is ready to charter the Mediterranean.
With naval architecture by Endaze Marine Engineering and exterior and interior design by Riza Tansu, this 250 GT beauty is ready to cruise with guests from Italy to Malta, from Croatia to Greece and Montenegro at a cruising speed of 13 knots.

Chartering the Mediterranean: Luxurious beach vibes
While the sleek, militaristic exterior is a staple of Riza Tansu, it starkly contrasts the warm, soft-coloured interior of the motor yacht. Carmen is designed to combine luxury with personal comfort aboard. Yet the most crucial part of Riza Tansu’s designs is the connection to the sea. A yacht is not supposed to be a floating apartment. Rather, it should emulate a relaxing beach-vibe with space for each type of guest.
Carmen does just that. With one designer for her interior and exterior, all her spaces feel united. Orange hues decorate her main deck and sky lounge, where guests can lounge with a view of the Mediterranean. Carried through on the lower deck, Carmen’s warm-coloured theme is subtly intertwined through each of the five state rooms: soft lighting and pale orange bedspreads. Up to ten guests can indulge in Carmen’s luxurious comfort while being cared for by seven crew members, including Captain Luka Šupe.

Wakeboards, water skis and warm waters
Exploring the Mediterranean with Carmen is more than just a luxury vacation. This spacious yet cosy yacht is packed with activities to ensure you’ll never be bored at sea. For thrill chasers there are jet ski’s, Sea-Doos, SeaBobs, e-foils, wakeboards and water skis. For more lowkey activities, you can explore hidden coves via paddleboard or kayak, or snorkel your way around reefs. Her accessible stern makes a jump in the water just as easy.
If you prefer enjoying the sea from the deck, fret not, there’s the opportunity to play basketball and table tennis or dive into some resistance training. For those who prefer to be more zen, there are yoga sessions available or watch your stress bubble away in the jacuzzi.

Chartering with Carmen isn’t just exploring the waters of the Mediterranean, but its palette too. Michelin-trained chef Mateo Rac has over ten years of experience with the regional flavours and will prepare a personalised, nutritional, seasoned menu. Whether it’s a sunset seafood feast on the aft deck, a vibrant brunch by the water, or a private dining experience under the stars, every moment aboard Carmen is designed to be a feast for the senses. Plus, with the fishing gear on board, you might just catch your very own dinner!
