Note from the Editor

2025: A year full of growth

From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, down to South-East Asia and up north to the Arctic, there are few places the Yacht Charter Market newsletter hasn’t travelled to. From updated charter regulations to captain interviews and featuring some of the most exciting charters around, 2025 has been an incredible year.

The next two weeks there won’t be a newsletter as the team takes time to unwind and refuel for the new year. 2026 is already filling up with exciting interviews with captains, crew and owners, must-charter yachts, as well as charter-tech and updated regulations.

Wishing you all a great end to 2025 and a wonderful start to 2026!

TOP STORY

Where Land Meets Sea: The Story Behind Worth Avenue Yachts x Villa Ardore

Some partnerships emerge not from boardroom meetings or corporate values, but rather from friendship, a shared passion and genuine alignment in spirit and storytelling. It is this like-mindedness from which Worth Avenue Yachts and Villa Ardore joined up to create an experience that celebrates exclusivity, connection, craftsmanship and authenticity.

Rooted in a shared philosophy

Collaborations between yachting and other luxury industries are becoming quite the trend; whether it’s fast sport cars, five-star hotels or Michelin dining. Yet some guests prefer something a little more slow-paced, something that focuses on coming together with people you love and spending time to live a little slower. That is the goal of the coming together of the luxury-centred brokerage, Worth Avenue Yachts and Villa Ardore, an authentic, private Tuscan villa located in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy.

Worth Avenue Yachts has a long-standing history of managing both charter yachts and yachts for sale. With offices scattered across the globe, ranging from Monaco to Fort Lauderdale to San Diego and Geneva, Worth Avenue understands what luxury means across continents and clientele and how to translate this into meaningful experiences out at sea, onboard superyachts.

The decision to team up with Villa Ardore, a Tuscan villa tucked away between vineyards, wooded hills and cypress trees, came to be through mutual friends and shared circles, reflecting the authentic feeling that both organisations strive to create in their day-to-day. A stay at the villa is an extension of the yachting lifestyle: unhurried, gracious, and effortlessly elevated, allowing guests to surrender to the moment in a space that has been carefully restored to provide all comforts of a modern home, yet retains its authentic Tuscan roots. Whether sipping wine on a sundeck or sharing a Michelin-chef prepared al fresco meal overlooking the hills of Tuscany, guests are sure to enjoy restorative, authentic experiences that suit their every desire.

Land and Sea: A shared lifestyle

A vacation where land meets sea allows guests to experience the best of both worlds in one trip. Guests might fly into Florence to roam around the city for a day or two, for plenty of time to enjoy an espresso while people-watching on the Piazza del Duomo, or to wander through the Uffizi gallery and admire Michelangelo’s David. On check-in day, guests are transported by a private chauffeur to the Villa where they are greeted by Villa Manager and Host, Francesco. After enjoying an aperitivo and settling in, guests gather for a relaxed sunset dinner, prepared by the villa’s private chef with fresh, local ingredients. The days that follow are spent savouring la dolce vita: unwinding from travel, reconnecting with loved ones, and embracing the rhythm of the Tuscan countryside. While lounging poolside, guests can gaze beyond the heated infinity pool to rolling vineyard-covered hills and distant mountains, while enjoying the villa’s signature Chianti or an expertly crafted cocktail. Later, guests may spend time in the Roman spa, enjoy a restorative massage with local, organic oils.. Throughout the stay, guests are attentively cared for by a professional staff whose deep knowledge of Tuscany ensures every detail is thoughtfully handled.

After several days of rest and indulgence, guests are whisked away to the Tuscan coast where their superyacht awaits. From there, guests will perhaps head north along the Italian Riviera or south to the Tuscan Archipelago, visiting the likes of Isola d’Elba and Isola di Montecristo. Anchored off secluded coves, guests can enjoy all the superyacht has to offer: whether lounging at the beach club, enjoying the varied selection of watertoys such as paddleboarding through azure waters, or fun on seabobs and e-foils before heading to the main deck for a sunset dinner whilst sipping Tuscan wines the likes of Sassicaia or one of the other delicious and subtle wines of the Tuscan coast.

Onboard, guests will be cared for by seasoned, professional crew who know the waters intimately. This land and sea will bring together superyachts and a villa that share the same focus of elegant, comfortable and authentic experiences, with a focus on superyachts in Worth Avenue’s charter portfolio that continue the narrative of the ultimate and authentic Italian experience.
